About Erythritol

General

Erythritol is a novel bulk sweetener with a caloric value close to zero (0.2kcal/g). Chemically, it is a four-carbon sugar alcohol (polyol). Erythritol is produced by microbial fermentation of a carbohydrate substrate. It is the only all-natural sugar alcohol available today.
