Stevia based sweetener granted approval in France

Essen, September 8, 2009 –Stevia Germany GmbH&Co. KG welcomes a ministerial decree authorizing a stevia based sweetener as a food additive in France.

The decree is referring to a stevia extract with a Rebaudioside A content of 97% or higher, which is the extract Stevia Germany uses for most of its products.

All products are food grade and made only using the purest and highest quality ingredients. We focus on using purest REB-A™, the ingredient recently approved as a GRAS ingredient by the FDA in the United States and also used by big companies such as Cargill or Coca-Cola, who also just announced their delight over the French decision.

Suitable for diabetics and individuals with celiac disease, our products are offered in various forms, as a pure powder extract (Rebaudioside A 97%), organic extract powder and liquid extract, tablets, granular blend with erythritol, and serving size sticks.
